The 2025 Dodge Charger design is the clearest indication that electric vehicles are taking over. Electrifying one of the most powerful muscle cars is a significant undertaking, but it comes with significant performance benefits. The next-generation Charger will most likely be built on Stellantis’ future big electric vehicle platform, which is expected to have a range of up to 500 miles. Increasing the performance to Hellcat levels will, of course, result in a lower range estimate.
2025 Dodge Charger Design Style
The 2025 Dodge Charger is finally ready to redesign the second version of the already available Dodge Charger. However, Dodge has not revealed any specifics on the redesign of the new Dodge Charger electric vehicle. So, we expect the 2025 Dodge Charger to feature more modern features and styling than the current Dodge Charger. And as soon as Dodge releases any details on the 2025 model’s overhaul. We’ll keep you posted.
Dodge Charger Interior
The Dodge Charger interior combines classic and new themes. The layered dash design is reminiscent of the late 1960s Dodge Charger, as is the pistol-grip shift lever for the automatic transmission. Other features include digital displays and adjustable ambient lighting, indicating that this is a modern charger. Bucket seats in the front of the vehicle look large and comfy, however, if you plan to often transport more than one additional passenger, we recommend the four-door because its back seat appears to be larger than the coupe’s. Cargo space should be ample, given both the two- and four-door variants have a rear liftback configuration rather than a regular trunk. It should provide for simple access to the storage area behind the back seat.

2025 Dodge Charger Engine
The Charger is equipped specifically with a twin-turbocharged inline-six known as the Hurricane, which is also available in the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. The Sixpack S.O. produces a hearty 420 horsepower. Going with the Sixpack H.O. model increases horsepower to 550 ponies. The H.O. is not the most powerful Charger model, however. That distinction belongs to the electric Charger Daytona Beach, which can be equipped with up to 670 horsepower; we will look at that model separately. The gasoline-powered Charger comes equipped with features all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Should we get a chance, we’ll bring the Charger to our test and report back on the acceleration findings.

Dodge Charger Fuel Efficiency
The Charger is a large, heavy car with a voracious thirst for gas. Despite having below-average EPA estimations for the city, it boasts fairly competitive highway scores. While we did not test the 5.7-liter V-8 on our 75-mph real-world fuel-economy route, which is part of our extensive testing program, we did test the V-6 with all-wheel drive and the larger 485-hp V-8. Surprisingly, both engines averaged 26 mpg on the interstate, while the eight averaged 25 mpg.
Safety and Driver Assistance Features
As we all know, most cars and SUVs have similar safety measures to ensure the best possible safety for their customers. So we anticipate it will incorporate additional standard and optional safety technologies, such as automatic emergency braking with pedestrian recognition, lane departure warning with lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and more. However, as of yet, the company has not verified anything.
